Wow. Our little girl started kindergarten today. She is attending our neighborhood school, Longleaf elementary school. Her teacher is Mrs. Fleeger, who has red hair. Yep, that should be interesting.She is in a very small varied exceptionalities classroom where she can get the extra assistance she needs.
Daddy is taking her to school in the mornings, which is much closer this year. It takes about 10 minutes to drive there. She will ride the bus home and Kaitlin will pick her up. We will look at how that works for a while, then make some decisions about her being on the bus. It's a bit of a long time for her to be on the bus for a 10 minute ride.
When she gets to school in the morning, the first thing her class does is eat breakfast. The picture is her first day of school, waiting in the cafeteria.
