Tooth

Whitney lost her first tooth this morning. Bottom center. Unfortunately it
is now being digested....sigh. She didn't understand enough to give it to
me.

Maybe she will start eating again. We have had quite a week of food
throwing. She broke two bowls at home and threw her lunch at school every
day. Its the first big behavior problem we have had. Time out helps a bit,
as does making her clean it up. But something is reinforcing the behavior
somewhere and it continues. We went to dinner last night and it was a
nightmare of flying food. Gotta figure this one out. I may need to go to
school for an observation day.

Tooth

Well, we have our first loose tooth. Bottom right center. I can tell it's driving her a bit crazy...we have some drooling and wierd mouth shapes. Maybe I'll forgive her for wanting to come home from school early today.

IEP Meeting

We had Whitney's IEP meeting this week. Now that they know Whitney a little better, some of her goals needed to be adjusted.

I'm left a little sad. She is so inconsistent with what she knows. Her stubborn head makes her not show people what she knows. At least, I hope that is what is going on. She was picking things from a field of 16 for me last spring, now she won't pick from a field of 4 for them at school. I just don't know what to do to help her here.

We are getting somewhere with potty training though. We are seeing more
consistency at home. I guess that is the Big Thing this year.
