The saga of our being redistricted to a new school continues. We went to our "new" school last night. It is a bit horrifying. Apart from feeling like a prison, the only ESE program there is for behaviorally challenged students. The lack of services and knowledge about varied exceptionalities was quite evident. Honestly, we were also a little concerned about the complete change in socioeconomic status of the attendees of the school.
Praying that we get granted the McKay scholarship to stay at our current school. We are going to write a letter this weekend to circulate to the people making that decision. It is NOT in the best interest of Whitney to go to this new school.
I need a plan B.
